Brand history
Gloria Flour launched in 1920, making it one of Zimbabwe's oldest continuously produced food brands, now more than a century old. The brand has been at the centre of the country's flour milling industry since its earliest days and remains Zimbabwe's most recognised flour name.
Centenary refresh (2020)
In 2020, Gloria celebrated its 100th anniversary alongside its parent company, National Foods. To mark the milestone, the range was refreshed with new packaging and a modernised identity: Gloria Plain Flour was renamed Gloria All Purpose Flour, and Gloria Brown Flour became Gloria High Fibre Wheat Flour. Gloria Self Raising Cake Flour was launched as a new addition, extending the range further.
